Are you kidding me?? This is what Peru's center Carlos Bazalar did to celebrate his game winning goal over Korea this past saturday.

When I first read this, I thought, OMG, what a moron. He's going to get suspended or fined or something. So I went to search for some news relating this this incident curious to see what happened to him. I googled Carlos Bazalar and racist gestures. I got nothing. So I decided to go onto FIFA.com and see if they addressed this. Nope. Nothing. NOT EVEN ONE FRIGGIN SENTENCE!!

So I sent an angry email. And I urge everyone to send one too. This can't go unnoticed!!

that's so f-cked up. and I completely disagree w/ dawall's comment. I don't give a shit who you are or what your circumstances are. Racism should not be tolerated period.

i sent an email saying that he should be punished. i also said that its completely wrong for FIFA to tolerate this type of racism, considering that soccer is an international sport and he just insulted all asians across the country with his gestures. too bad that they wont do anything about it anyway. *sigh* but at least i did my part.

Well you have to admit...racism is a lot more prevalent outside the U.S. Heck, I'm sure there are plenty of South Koreans who are racist towards foreigners as well. That being said, I think what he did was in poor taste considering the forum and audience.

this shit pisses me off but this is almost nothing compared to what i've seen. do you have hbo sports with bryant gumble? did you ever see the story they did on black soccer players in europe? people in the stands were throwing bananas at them and making monkey noises. i think germany was playing italy there were people holding signs in the stands that said things like "go back to your country and burn in the ovens" or something to that extent. they interviewed some of the black players and some of them were crying. i think racism is worse outside of the us.

i just feel that if fifa doesn't even acknowledge that then why would they care about this... you know?

kristen bell turned down the role on lost. she had offers for both but decided on heroes because she wanted to stay in LA, rather than moving out to hawaii. she also said it's because she has more connections somehow to ppl on heroes. too bad she can't be on both.
